Class A drug conspiracy group imprisoned for total of 100 years – Matthew Farmer and Steven Molloy prosecuting
Members of an East London Organised Crime Group have been imprisoned for a total of over 100 years following a clean sweep of Guilty verdicts and pleas across three trials at Snaresbrook Crown Court, prosecuted by Matthew Farmer, leading Steven Molloy.
“Operation Knotweed 2” concerned an investigation into the “Specs” Class A drugs line which supplied large quantities of Heroin and Crack Cocaine in East London over a three year period between 2021 – 2024.
The line controller, received a total sentence of 17 years and 7 months imprisonment, with the other 15 conspirators receiving sentences of between 12 ½ years and 2 years depending on their roles within the conspiracy.
