Barry McElduff and Rob Harding secure client’s acquittal following 8 week drugs conspiracy trial
Barry McElduff, leading Rob Harding, was successful in securing the acquittal of his client who was said to be one of 8 men running the ‘Smithy’ drugs syndicate in Aldershot. The police investigation was known as ‘Operation Dogtooth’.
It was a complex and wide ranging investigation that involved careful examination of over 20,000 pages of phone data and cell site evidence. The case both for and against Barry’s client was based upon complex phone attribution evidence. Barry’s client was one of only 2 Defendants acquitted by the jury at the end of the case.
