Winchester prison inmate jailed for rape and GBH of fellow prisoner – Simon Foster prosecuted for the Crown
Robert Reynolds was convicted by the jury at Salisbury Crown Court of grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of rape and sexual assault after pouring boiling water over a fellow inmate before beating and raping him.
At the time of the offences, both men were in custody at HMP Winchester. The victim was treated at the prison before being transferred to a specialist burns hospital for treatment.
Reynolds, 29, was jailed for 12 years on 13th December 2023.
