Steven Perian KC to moderate panel at Dubai Arbitration Week 2026
On Monday 9 November 2026, Steven Perian KC will moderate a panel hosted by Laborde Law at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC: “Armed Conflict and Investment Arbitration: Who Bears the Losses?”
The discussion will address State responsibility and attribution, causation and proof of loss, and the application of investment treaty protections—including full protection and security obligations and war-loss clauses—to conflict-related losses. It will also consider whether investment arbitration can provide a neutral forum for resolving such disputes.
Steven Perian KC will be in Dubai during the week for the panel and other professional engagements, and welcomes the opportunity to meet colleagues and exchange views.
