Steven Perian KC has published an article in the Current Law Journal titled “Mediation in Modern Civil Justice: Doctrinal Foundations, Judicial Direction and Comparative Perspectives between England and Wales and Malaysia.”
The article considers the evolving role of mediation in England and Wales and Malaysia, including the development of court-directed ADR, cost consequences, judicial case management and Malaysia’s structured but non-coercive framework under the 2022 Practice Direction.
