Michael Williams secures acquittal at the Old Bailey
Michael Williams was instructed by Kaim Todner solicitors to defend a Moldovan national accused of being part of an international conspiracy to defraud the UK banking industry.
The prosecution evidence included covert surveillance, computer analysis and the discovery of a large quantity of card skimming devices at the defendant’s home address. The prosecution alleged the conspiracy had already obtained 11,500 card numbers capable of yielding the fraudsters £3.7 million. The jury acquitted Mr. Williams’ client unanimously.
