Sally Howes QC and Michael Williams secure murder convictions

Three defendants have been convicted of the murder of the former lover of one of the defendants following a lengthy trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

The defendants were a woman, her ex-husband and their 16 year old son. They were convicted of the murder of the woman’s former lover following the end of their affair. The son was detained with a minimum term of 6 years and the others were sentenced to life with minimum terms of 27 years and 25 years imprisonment.

Another defendant, a 17 year old girl, is to be sentenced for her conviction for perverting the course of justice.
