Adam Andrews, 37, was yesterday jailed for 3 years for the violent shaking of a 21-day old baby, leaving the victim blind and paralysed, unable to walk or talk and needing 24 hour care.

Ipswich Crown Court heard that Andrews had shown no remorse since the incident in 2018.  His defence argued that the shaking was a spontaneous loss of control.
