Bordon woman on trial for murder – Kate Lumsdon KC leading Rebecca Austin for the defence

Bronwyn Jones also known as Anarlyn Jones is due to stand trial at Portsmouth Crown Court this week for the murder of her mother Anna Jones in 2023, who was found dead in a flat on Station Road in Petersfield.

The 26-year-old defendant of Jacaranda Road has admitted to killing her mother but denies murder; she pleaded guilty last December to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
