November 24, 2016

Operation Teddy was a covert surveillance operation targeting the ’24’ drugs gang supplying heroin and cocaine in Southampton in 2015. The operation involved the ‘bugging’ of a car said to be used by the gang as well as clandestine surveillance conducted over a number of weeks in the summer of 2015.

Barry, instructed by Will Day of Gammon, Piercy & Gaiger solicitors, was representing one of 4 Defendants said to be part of the drugs gang who faced proceedings at Southampton Crown Court.

Following a 3 week trial in November 2016, Barry’s client was unanimously acquitted by the jury.
