Josh maintains a busy practice across London, the Western and South Eastern Circuits.

Before joining chambers at 2 King’s Bench Walk, Josh was called to the bar by Middle Temple as a Queen Mother Scholar. He was later awarded the Harold G. Fox Scholarship and placed at a leading litigation boutique in Toronto, gaining experience in criminal defence, civil litigation and administrative law. He also spent time working at the Ontario Court of Appeal alongside Justice James MacPherson.

Josh went on to become a teaching associate at Queen Mary Law School leading seminars on jurisprudence and legal theory.

Josh is also a recent graduate from Harvard Law School where he earned an LLM. While at Harvard, Josh was appointed as a teaching fellow and taught seminars on the ethics of artificial intelligence.

R v H (Stratford Magistrates’ Court) – Acquittal for defendant accused of assault by beating by two complainants.

R v C (Bexley Magistrates’ Court) – Acquittal for defendant accused of possession of an offensive weapon (a ‘push dagger’) on the basis of reasonable excuse.

R v S (Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court) – Acquittal for defendant accused of assault by beating.

R v H (Winchester Crown Court) – Community order for defendant convicted of dangerous driving while involved in extended police chase.

R v S (Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court) – Conditional discharge for defendant convicted of assault on an emergency worker.

R v G (Reading Crown Court) – Suspended sentence for defendant convicted of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B.
