
Overview
Alexia joined Chambers in February 2025 having been called to the Bar in November 2024.
Alexia qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and has specialised in criminal practice since then. In 2009 Alexia gained her Higher Rights of Audience and then has appeared regularly at the Crown Court and is an experienced Trial Advocate.
Alexia's previous practice as a solicitor means that she has in-depth knowledge and experience of all stages of the criminal process, from the Police Station to the Crown Court. This insight enables her to liaise effectively with those instructing her, appreciating the pressures they face.
Alexia has exceptional client care skills and engages well in particular with young and vulnerable clients.
She undertakes the full range of Crown Court work and has recently undertaken trials defending those facing offences of Murder, Rape, Fraud and serious assaults. She has experience as a Leading Junior and being led. She has undertaken VHCC work.
Alexia undertakes both Legal Aid and Private work.
She also represents clients in relation to motoring offences.
