Alex Kettle-Williams and Josh Scouller secure acquittals in violent assault case
Alex Kettle-Williams and Josh Scouller secured unanimous acquittals for their clients charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The complainant, a delivery driver, alleged that the husband and wife duo had assaulted him with a volley of punches and slaps before attacking him with pliers. Both were picked out by the complainant on an ID parade.
Both denied attacking the complainant, but accepted being at the scene of the incident.
The jury unanimously acquitted the defendants at Snaresbrook Crown Court after a six-day trial.
