South Asian Heritage Month: Miss Grace Ong gives Inner Temple talk
The Inner Temple Racial Equality Society presented South Asian Heritage Month: Free To Be Me: Life at the Bar on 23rd July 2024 and Miss Grace Ong joined the panellists for a conversation on how their heritage has shaped and influenced their journey to the Bar and their practice.
Described as an “enlightening and inspiring talk” Grace’s discussion on how heritage has shaped and influenced her journey to the Bar was both “profound and motivating”.
Grace’s insights into life at the Bar provided “invaluable perspective and inspiration” to those who attended.
The organisers of the event said, “it was a privilege to hear about (Miss Ong’s) journey and the wealth of experience accumulated”.
They added, “(Miss Ong) imparted some excellent advice for our attendees and drove home the message of ‘Free to be Me’. We received great feedback from our audience, many of whom left feeling inspired and positive about the future of the Bar”.
