Sally Howes QC prosecutes mother for murder of her child

Sally Howes QC was instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service, Thames Chiltern, to prosecute Angela Whitworth at the Old Bailey.

The defendant was convicted of the murder of her 20 month old daughter who she killed, and whose body she concealed, before flying to Kenya the following day.

The defendant was jailed for life with a minimum term of 15 years imprisonment imposed.
