John Lloyd-Richards leads Matilda Robinson-Murphy in the latest in a series of trials relating to a string of aggravated burglaries in the West Midlands

February 8, 2024

Niall Patrick, 29, was allegedly part of a armed gang which carried out targeted raids on homes they thought were cannabis factories in the West Midlands.

Patrick, along with his alleged accomplices, is said to have executed these intrusions using a car, their modus operandi reeking of methodical planning and targeting. The prosecution, led by the tenacious Mr John Lloyd-Richards, presents a chilling picture of the gang members armed with machetes and crowbars. Their objective, however, was not a random act of disruption but a targeted assault on buildings they presumed to be clandestine cannabis factories.

The trial continues at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
