Circuit Judge Appointment: Khan KC
The King has appointed Tahir Khan KC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Leeds Combined Court with effect from 06 November 2023.

Tahir Khan KC will be known as His Honour Judge Tahir Khan KC. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1986. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2005.
