Grace Ong prosecutes married nursery worker for underage sex

The defendant is accused of five counts of engaging in sexual activity with a boy beginning when the victim was 13 years old. The matter came to light when the defendant later had a child which was found to share DNA with the victim in the case.

The trial is currently being heard at Reading Crown Court before HHJ Clarke QC, Miss Ong is instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service Thames & Chiltern.

Members of 2KBW involved in high profile terrorist trial

Mohiussunnath Chowdhury and his sister, Sneha Chowdhury, were convicted of terrorism offences following a lengthy trial at Woolwich Crown Court before HHJ Lees QC. The defendants were accused of planning attacks on tourist sites around London following an earlier acquittal on other terrorism offences.

Marion Smullen led Mumin Hashim, and Gulam Ahmed was junior to Simon Csoka QC, all instructed by Shofna Begum of Stuart Begum Solicitors.

William Mousley QC and Alex Kettle-Williams secure murder conviction

William Mousley QC and Alex Kettle-Williams have secured the unanimous conviction of a man who murdered his victim before setting fire to her home in which she laid in an attempt to conceal the evidence and her body. The trial was heard over 3 weeks before Mr Justice Garnham at Winchester Crown Court.  Brendan Rowan-Davies, who repeatedly sliced the throat of his victim in a sexually motivated and sadistic attack, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 30 years.
