After a long and illustrious career Tony has decided to hang up his wig and retire from the Bar. Tony has been a loyal and popular member of Chambers for over 45 years and he will be sorely missed by all here, we wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.

Barry McElduff and Chris Hewertson conclude prosecution of final chapter of tit for tat cases of Bedford gang based serious violence
Barry McElduff and Chris Hewertson secured convictions of two core members of a violent criminal gang, known as the Mile Road Gang, following an 8 week trial at St Albans Crown Court before HHJ Lithman QC.
This case was the fourth in a series of Bedford gang trials successfully prosecuted by members of 2KBW and focussed on gang warfare in June 2017 by way of a series of stabbings and a reprisal shooting.

Alex Kettle-Williams and Josh Scouller secure acquittals in violent assault case
Alex Kettle-Williams and Josh Scouller secured unanimous acquittals for their clients charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The complainant, a delivery driver, alleged that the husband and wife duo had assaulted him with a volley of punches and slaps before attacking him with pliers. Both were picked out by the complainant on an ID parade.
William Mousley QC – High profile manslaughter trial conviction
William Mousley QC secures a conviction at Winchester Crown Court in a high profile manslaughter case. The defendant was sentenced to eight and a half years.
