Michael Shaw and Suki Dhadda successfully prosecute two men and one woman, for the sexual abuse and prostitution of six women committed over a period of twenty-two years in the Rugby and Coventry area.
Young vulnerable women were targeted by the two male defendants and were then either raped or sexually abused by them and in some cases also forced into prostitution. The first defendant was found to be dangerous and was given a 22 year determinate sentence along with an eight year extension. The second defendant was given a 16 year determinate sentence and the third defendant, who was convicted of the kidnap of one of the victims, is yet to be sentenced.
